Description: "The Electric Eel" is a 1954 film by the Moody Institute of Science's Educational Film Division. This short film is in the public domain and is an interesting look at science from the late 1950's. I pray that it is a blessing for you.

Description: In "The Electric Eel" host Irwin Moon teaches the viewer about the "Electric" Eel (Electrophorus electricus), which is actually an electric fish. The viewer gets to see demonstrations of the Electric Eel's power by lighting up lights and shocking a group of people that did not believe how much power it could create. The Electric Eel's radar is tested to show how it cannot sense location without its radar in operation.
