Description: The reality is that a life that is found in Christ is one of self-denial and crucifixion of the flesh. The flesh is the lord of many professing Christians today, who through gluttony and sloth allow the flesh to rule them. I want to encourage you to live a life of good health by which you can truly glorify God in your body. A life where you are a light to all men in sound conduct, sound ethics, and sound health. Not one where you bring shame to the name of the Lord you claim because you refuse to keep the flesh in submission. Obesity should NEVER be an issue for a Christian who is walking in holiness and the faith of God. The Christian should be the most diligent, hardworking, and selfless person around, but instead there are many false converts filling the churches today who are lazy, fat, and gluttonous. Their god is their belly and they have no desire to repent and start following the Lord Jesus Christ. This video is for those that have fallen into fleshly lusts or those who were never truly saved. I want to encourage you in the Lord to repent and start living a life that glorifies God in all areas, including your body.

"The slothful man saith, There is a lion without, I shall be slain in the streets." (Proverbs 22:13)

You can make up all kinds of excuses for why you choose to eat junk, not exercise, and become obese. You can say "My metabolism," "My Thyroid," "My genetics," or any other lame excuses you may try to come up with for your slothfulness, or you can choose life and follow the ways of the Lord.
