A number of people want just a quick answer to their question about the Scripture, the things of God, or this life. Please ask me any question you may have that can be answered with a simple "Yes" or "No" and I will answer it for you and provide Scripture that confirms my answer. I pray that this is a blessing for you.

TRANSCRIPT OF THE VIDEO:

Brother Hicks Speaking: Here is a question from a user RealEros1 asks, “Should a young Christian avoid attending a college or university in order to live life by faith as opposed to degree, credential, prestige, etc.?”

Yes.

[Scripture appears on screen:] Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.   For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. – 1 John 2:15-17

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? – Matthew 16:24-26

And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. – Luke 12:22-23
